Lorin Beller is an inspirational and powerful leader of entrepreneurs. Since launching Lorin Beller & Co, in 2001, Lorin has been providing trainings, coaching and books all designed to guide and empower business owners. She has served thousands of clients and helped empower them to realize their ideal lives – not just as successful, prosperous entrepreneurs, but as people who feel balanced and fulfilled on all levels. Most recently, Lorin has had the great pleasure of coaching Dr. Tererai Trent, Oprah’s Favorite Guest in her 25 years as she launches her business.
Lorin is an expert on the topic of entrepreneurship in that she started, with a partner, a technology company in the early 90′s and grew it to a 3+ million dollar firm and sold it in 2000. She is also a single Mom. Therefore, she speaks from experience of juggling it all.
In 2005, Lorin was honored to receive the “Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ by one of Albany, NY’s great Chambers of Commerce. Then in 2010, Lorin was honored with two prestigious International Stevie Business Awards: Women Supporting Women Award, as well as Mentor of the Year Award. Lorin has been a featured speaker at numerous international forums and conferences including the National Association of Women Business Owner Chapters from coast to coast, Canada’s Women in Business National Expo, Sales and Marketing Executives International, Young Entrepreneurs Organization and eWomenNetwork. Lorin has also been a co-host on the Kathryn Zox Radio show for 5 years – in 2009’s their show was the most listened to show on Voice America.
Lorin wrote her first book in 2005, From Entrepreneur to Big Fish: 7 Principles to Wild Success and her next one came out in 2011: SPLASH! How Women Entrepreneurs Dive into Success. Lorin Beller is often a speaker for large groups audiences that want to inspire the Entrepreneurial Spirit. What Lorin has learned however is it is not the success where we stretch and grow, it is in our challenges. In the past few years her challenges were in a few areas. The first being her health, when a medical doctor wanted her to begin going down the path of getting tested for MS. Lorin went to work in attempting to understand what was going on with her body and that search lead her to learn a tremendous amount out about Celiac Disease and found out that both she and her daughter were displaying classic symptoms and today they are both gluten free and have thier health back.
The next challenge came when she discovered that her husband was having an affair and what that does to a family and relationships and the aftermath that it had on her family and the reasons why. Lorin is finding that this journey has became one of a deep spiritual trek that she is beginning to share openly. Finally, Lorin lives each day with deep faith and trust knowing that all of the experiences in her life offer lessons and opportunities and for that, she grateful every day.
Bottom-line, Lorin is like the girl next door who continues to create a terrific life for herself and her family but what makes her unique is she is a straight-shooter, she will pull herself up by her boot straps and ‘go for the gold even in the midst of hell’, as her long time friend and high-school coach said to her. Personally, You can often find Lorin enjoying the outdoors and is currently living in San Diego with her daughter (7) and dog (blind little Shiba Inu) who reminds Lorin to live life with her eyes wide open and as conscious as possible these days. She has been known to be a bit of an outdoor adventurist in that she has been hang-gliding off of Stinson Beach in California and horseback riding on the beaches of Puerto Rico, Zip-lining in Costa Rica (and Texas!) and swimming through the mangroves in Mexico or simply a peaceful paddle in her kayak in New York’s Adirondack Mountains. Yet, Lorin knows that truly the greatest times are the sweet simple moments with her family and friends.

Gail Benmosche has been a part of Lorin’s team since 1995. She has many skills, including bookkeeping, web updates, Constant Contact, and project management. Gail is most often found behind the scenes making things run smoothly and efficiently. She is our detail professional and a long time friend and will quickly become a friend of yours. Oh, she is a practicing Big Fish too and has been since the beginning!

Amy is Mom to a little boy that she and her husband adopted a few years ago. She is amazing at knowing her priorities and helping you stay true to yours. Amy is a student of life and also a Big Fish Expert business coach.
